The “Help to complete” module assists in the creation of the electronic DGD – the eDGD. It guides the user through the entry process and draws the user’s attention to required information and special regulations.
The “eDGD Validation” module ensures that the information for dangerous goods regulations is plausible. For example, special country- or airline-specific regulations are reviewed, the quality value is calculated and the classification of the dangerous goods is checked. The basis for the review is the IATA rulebook.
This modules make the shipping process faster, more reliable and above all more transparent. Duplicate entry of data is no longer necessary. Documentation errors can be detected and eliminated at an early stage. The number of shipments rejected by airlines will be reduced. There is additional potential for shorter check-in times, which currently need twelve hours before departure.
